Decaf

posted 3rd Jul
I'm sure this is on here somewhere... but... I love coffee!!! Iquit drinking it for the first 3months but I was getting headaches (from lack of caffeine??...) so anyways my doctor said I can have one or two cups a day...so I drink 1 cup every morning (12 ounces...) My question is I know there is stilla small amount of caffeine in decaf but I can't seem to findout exactly how much, becausehonestly one cup of coffeea day is not enough.. soi wondered if 1 cup of regularand 1 cup of decaf is to much???

decaf is not good for you or the baby because of the chemicals they use to process it. kinda like artifical sweetners arent good for you so your not supposed to drink diet soda while your prego. if your worried about too much caffiene drink you cup of regular coffee in the morning and then have a cup of tea or regular soda later in the day. soda only has about 34 mg of caffine per serving. im not sure how much tea has, but its a lot less and coffee

i drank alot of pop when I was prego the first time- and I swear my baby had some caffiene with draws after birth!! that kid was awake about 20 hours a day ( literally) for a looooong time

Once I started drinking a cup my headaches went away...but before I was prego I drank it so much that its hard to just have one cup in the morning so I wanted to start drinking 2 cups but I thought maybe if I drank some decaf it would be better...

2 cups will be fine. imo i think natural caffine liek that in tea and coffee are much better than drinking the stuff in mt dew and coke.

Wait...they put chemicals in it? I drink a can of diet soda a day... It seems like evrything is bad for you! So what is better? caffeine? or whatever chemicals are in diet and decaf?????

i think a cut of coffee or a regular coke is better than diet soda. diet soda has nutrisweet that can harm babies, caffine only risks things like withdrawl from it or hyperactivity maybe, i dont know. i would drink reg soda over diet anyday.
