I picked the name Rohan Clyce Alasdiar for our baby. My family hasn't said much, they say it's my baby it's my choice. But his side of the family HATES it. I hate Clyce, but agreed because hubby let me pick Rohan and Alasdair. But I don't care what they think. I mean his mom gave more than one of her kids the same middle name.

I personally like the name Brynlee...when I was younger I use to want to name my daughter Brynn..I think I got it from Real World Vegas or something like that...anyways...My problem with names is always my side of the family...My kids are all half white half hispanic... I love hispanic names so I try to give them hispanic names...My oldest is Manuela Joselyn and unfortunately my family has taken it into their own hands to call her M.J. which I hate because they refuse to say Manuela. Now occasionally they will call her Wayla...UGH even worse!! My second is Adianna Jeneava and they constantly try to tell me that it is supposed to be Arianna...hello!!!I picked the name I know what it's supposed to be...so anyways...with these one when I thought for sure I was having boys I announced that I was thinking of the names Armando Javierr and Aleczander Jullian (I changed them to Carsynn Jullian and Armando Javierr and they don't know yet) but they hated the original names. I am sure if they are girls they will complain about one of the names and the middle name of the other...and once they get over that they will complain about spelling...BTW if I have girls the names will be Massiel Jisenia and Miraiya Jiselle {Mariah} ..However the father's family of my kids love the names and the originality...whether it just be the spelling or the name....(I sort of made up Adianna...I think lol....)

Quoting Dee-nah: I'm naming my daughter Marlee and already I'm getting the Bob Marley jokes and that my son's name is ... [snip!] ... a charm of St. Damian around my neck to let people know Damian was just a name in a movie and not really the Devils name!!!!
I have always loved the name Marlee....unfortunately that wasn't one of my BF's faves...he liked it...it just didn't "win" lol

My mil wants the name to be
Bailey-Chantel you know like maryann. she is still calling me about that and as irratable as i am i think she is about to get her ear shot off.

We're naming our baby Charles Joseph after both of our fathers. We're going to call him Charlie. It kind of makes me mad because my stepmom has said that she doesn't like the name and is going to call him C.J. no matter what anyone says. She said that in front of our daughter, who is 6, and she got really mad and said that she couldn't call him that because his name is Charlie.

Thats why I'm just not going to tell anyone what we are naming our child.
My parents have a lot of grandchildren so I don't think they would care. But I know names probably bug the in-laws...everything else does.
All my nieces and nephews are on my parents side. No one on my husbands side has procreated.
These are my nieces names
Jocelyn
Ashleigh
Harley
Britney
Nephews

We're not telling anybody except for our best friends (the husband's and mine). Those are the only two people I trust to not piss me off I'm pretty sure his mom can't keep her mouth shut when it comes to that stuff considering she was already telling me what my baby was going to look like and how I need to raise it before I EVEN got PREGNANT!
So yeah, we've decided that if it's a girl she'll be Addison Sawyer. Her initials will be ASH so we can call her that for a nickname
If it's a boy we really like Oran Angelo after both of our dad's. We both really want to honor them and how much they've meant to us in our lives. But we also really like the name Thatcher. So we'll see.

we have decided to tell no one our babies name until after it's born. So when they ask what we're naming it we say "Dora if it's a girl and Diego if it's a boy"

We chose Darwin as our son's middle name...and b/c the first name is a family name (same as dad, grandpa, etc.) we use his middle name.
My step-dad and sis call him "Zack"
My mom and everyone else (in laws too) call him Darwin
At first only DH's family liked the name. My mom was like, "wha...? You mean as in evolution? Are you serious? I don't like that name at all!" Then later on she was like, "Well I love my grand baby so I'll grow to like his name no matter what it is."
