After reading this.... just wow.

OP. Hate to break it to ya... but you are being supported by your mother. You sound like a little kid who didnt get the lollipop in the candy isle at the grocery store.

Wake up, for the sake of your child and at least make an attempt to be a fucking adult.

So if you think you can make it on your own why would you move in with your boyfriends grandma over getting your own apartment? You pay for so much right now that you can totally pay for EVERYTHING right?

Um, that's not exactly "moving out"

You really have no idea what the real world is all about. I moved out when I was 18, and paid all my own bills, car, etc. You sound like a spoiled little girl.

I got pregnant right out of high school. When my parents found out that I was pregnant they kicked me out and I had to go get three jobs working 20 hours a day 6 days a week to save up money to pay for everything once I had my baby. Rent is expensive and you won't think about how much your mother has spent on paying for her place to live until you are out on your own and then you'll be like OMG it cost 800.00 to rent a 2 bedroom house!Your mother pays for things you can't even fathom right now. Electric, gas, water, house, house insurance, groceries, household items, etc. Things that you porbably don't think about. So your boyfriend gets her her drinks. I figure she spends a couple of thousand a month on living expenses alone and you are staying there. I wish I would have had parents like that and didn't have to get three jobs to support myself and my child.
But I made it and I did not whine when my curfew at home used to be nine and my parents let my sister stay out until 11 whenever she wanted. Things were unfair but I was the one that got pregnant at 18, my sister didn't. Maybe they will see things differently if your sister DOES end up pregnant. I am on my own and I don't care what my parent's rules are anymore because I don't have to follow them and now I have my own rules for my children.

And, she's 18 so it's not like she can't...I moved out at 16 and was still going to school, pregnant at 17 and working.....I never got help from anybody...even when I was with her father I still paid for everything...UGH

She's pretty clueless! I have completely supported myself since I was 18. I've worked every job imaginable while I was going to trade school. Even when I lived at home, I worked during HS, because my mom couldn't afford any extras for us. If I wanted clothes, etc, it came from the money I made working retail.

I've been out since I was 17, and she doesn't even have to get three jobs, she can get a damned roomate or something, but why when you live for free?

I agree... Everyone wants you to abide by there rules in their household.... get a job 2 if you need to and watch your paycheck leave your hands when you pay rent and take care of yourself and your family like your mother does! Doesn't sound to hot.... I wish I could still stay with my parents andall I would have to do is be home by 9, hell I would be there by 8:55.LOL

I just got done reading this entire thing. OP - You are acting like a child. My mother had me when she was 17. We lived with my grandma until my mom was 21. You know what? My mom had a curfew, chores to do around the house, AND worked so she could help my grandma with utility bills and groceries.

You have a baby now. It's about your son now, not you. Would you rather be out working 20 hours a day to put a roof over his head, or have to be home by 9pm and get to SPEND TIME with your baby?

Thats a good perspective and she should listen to you but chances are good she won't realize any of this until she does attempt to move out on her own. Like REALLY move out on her own... not to her bf's gma's house.

Thank You. I know she won't listen, and will end up learning the hard way. It just makes me sad that she doesn't realize how good she has it now.
