Has your baby stopped moving?

posted 3rd Jul
My baby has been very active while in my tummy until two days ago. I felt him move that morning then nothing thru the day. Usually when I lay down at night is whenhe is most active, but nothing. The next morning at work... nothing! Around lunch time I started to get really worried and called the Dr and they said for me to drink something with a lot of sugar in it! So I did and he started moving some, just not as much as usual. The Dr's office called to check on me and said it would be ok and if he quit moving again to drink something like that again! I'm still worried! So I am wondering if that has happened to any of you and what you did?

Yeah my doctor said because the baby is getting bigger and there really isn't much room to move. You should be fine. Don't worry too much.

Eh.... I'm not saying to worry, but the movement should definitely be monitored. I am at 33 weeks+ and my lil guy still moves plenty. Course he's always been an active baby, now it just hurts more since he is truly running out of room now. Meme, I would continue to monitor your lil one, you are the one who knows what's normal for the baby and what's not as far as movement goes. You can't go wrong with callin the doctor like you did! I know my doctor's tellme that at any time you notice a decrease in movement out of the ordinary, you should call them. Sounds like your docs gave you some good advice already though! I would definitely stick to what they told you and not be worried about calling if for any reason you feel alarmed again!
