Spellinggg.

Ugh haha. i wanna spell her name Mackenzie. and my boyfriend said that looks weird and that he wants to spell it Mckenzie. So i told him i guess we can spell it like that since he let me chose the name. But everytime someone online will ask me what im naming her and i say Mckenzie.. theyll be like "ohh Mackenzie is a cute name" and they re-spell it.

What is the right way to spell it??

Isaiah was going to be Irelyn Mackenzie..... I personally like it better with the A. With out the A it kinda looks more like a last name.

I am naming my daughter McKenzie Grace! My bf and I liked that spelling BETTER too!!! My MOM kept trying to put an "A" in it and said that the way we were spelling it was more like a last name! Well, I told her that I DIDN'T CARE! We liked McKenzie and THAT'S THE WAY IT IS GOING TO BE SPELLED!!!!!!

I agree!   I would go with mackenzie. truthfully that name is so overused it won'treally matter how you spell it. The teacher is still probably gonna have to call her mackenzie H. or mackenzie G. or whatever your last name is anyway, taking all of the fun out of it.
