Powder vs Rash Creams

what do you use?, i have both but i only like using the creams im nto sure why either

but what do you use and why??

And if you have used both what did you find worked better?

i just use powder as i have found it is the only thing that really works

I use the Aveeno Rash Cream and that works

Drew got thrush from huggies nappies on his bely below his belly button. I had to put canasten cream on and cornstarch ( what the mat health nurse said) coz the powder?cornstarch sets the cream and stops it being absorbed by the nappy and makes it more effective.
I prefer to use Curash products on the boys as they also have atopic eczema.
Drew in his hair( looks like milk rash atm but is clearing, definately not cradle cap tho)and Joel on one foot (pompholyx).... inherited from me.
Powder also absorbs extra moisture to eliminate things liek thrush and bacteria, but Im sure Kaidyn is always clean but they sweat in the fat rolls if you know what i mean.

I used to work in a peditric hospital and we used to use a mixture of aquaphor and maalox for bad diper rash, it works really well! I used it for my own kids as well.

its not a thick as pentaten cream the nurse said so its easier

I use Penaten and absolutly LOVE IT. I use it for my face as well and swear it gets rid of those ugly wrinkles..It works really well for everything..If my daughter has a scratch, I swear you not it will be gone the next day!

I use powder pretty much all the time unless I see her bits start to go a lil red then I'll put on some cream and powder, clears up right away

Powders can clog up the pores.

I haven't used anything yet and Sophia has had nothing.

yeah thats why id ont using it, but with out a fail he always has it on him when he has been at kims....but i dont think he will be going there mum anymore

I heard powder is bad for the baby to breathe in....Bad for the lungs. I'm not 100% about that though
