some but i still fit in to some of my clothes

always i kinda just gained a bit of weight everywhere and didn't LOOK preggo forever just chubby

daddy and i went our seperate ways i moved cross country so he has not seen me show

Do you remember what the heart rate was at most of your appointments?
140-165 was monitered all day today

What do you remember most about your second appointment?
my second OB appt? nothing really...

Did you get good profile pictures at your 'big' sonogram?
level 2 u/s was neat there was a small scare of no arms (daddy;s side) so it was a wonderful site to see she had all her limbs! i also got some good 3d u/s pix one is my avatar!

Was the gender easily identified?
yes at level 2.. but i had em double check during 3d

Was it a Daddy's girl or Mama's Boy?
mommy's princess!

What's cuter? Baby girls or baby boys?
girl toys! i have gotten her so much stuff!

an alice in wonderland doll ( the nursery theme is alice in wonderland)

the glucose test? it wasn't horrible i guess but i didn't know til i got there that i had to drink it and wait an hour!

What was the best part of trimester 2?
constant kicking/hiccups and the first time she flipped in my tummy

Worst?
The back pain ! and sleeping some swelling

june 1st it was amazing

my cousin made me a toy chest and painted alice in wonderland characters on it and on the inside lid there is a carved book with passages from through the looking glass it is gorgeous!

How much did you weigh at your last appointment?
a lot

How much did they guess the baby weighed?
they really didn't do much to guess weight doc told me she seems to be a week behind in sze vs. my gestation and guesses her between 6lb 7 oz - 7lb 4 oz

Did the baby move much?
yup accept one night read my post on why she is already grounded for scaring mommy!

Throughout your pregnancy did you have any cravings?
cereal, potatoes, and subway

Did you ever count kicks?
yuppers

Did you go on a 'babymoon'?
nope but i got a mani/pedi the other day and since today's induction was canceled i am gonna go get my hair cut tomorrow

i am now yes

yeh talk about lame 3 times a day with palmers stretch mark cream and had a smooth tummy til like 3 weeks ago now i have a few right on the sides of my belly button!

nope

What was the best part of Trimester 3?
justknowing i am gonna meet her soon and feeling her move guessing a personality by how she is in utero

the back pain and the headache

Not exactly sure... I THINK it happened when we were in Iowa visiting our families.

No

Were you trying to conceive?
nope

Did the daddy want a baby too?
no, but after we found out and after the initial shock he was excited.

Was he the first person you told?
He was right there when I took the test. Him and our 2 friends were outside when I did the test and I came outside when it was done.

Why did you think you were pregnant?
Well... I was pregnant in May of 2007, but at 5 weeks miscarried. I read that you get your period back within 3-6 weeks and it had been 4 and a little worried. My friend had an extra test so I took it, thinking it would come up negative. But low and behold, it was a positive!

Was the line on the HPT dark or light?
very light, but I took another one a few days later and it was darker.

What brand of HPT did you use?
I can't remember.

How long did you wait to tell your parents?
Um... I found out I was preggo on July 1st and I think I told my parents either the end of the month or beginning of Aug.

How far along were you when you had your first appointment?
9 weeks 6 days.

What stuck out about your first appointment?
My mom came with me and I had to lie to my dr and said I wasn't married (funny story!) and also I had an u/s to determine how far along I was. He was such a tiny little thing!

Do you remember what the first heart rate was?
No I dont' remember

What was the worst part about trimester 1?
The fatigue. I was soooooo tired all the time.

Best?
Felt the first movements at 13 weeks. And I'm happy that I didn't get morning sickness.

When did you start to show?
I started showing early, like 7 weeks or so? I have a small build.

Did you go buy any maternity clothes?
no I did not invest in those. I just bought 2 jeans 3 sizes bigger and shirts that are made long. I didn't buy much. I was always at home in my comfy clothes anyway.

Was there a point where you thought you just looked fat?
Oh yeah!

Was the daddy excited that you were showing?
I think he was, he was gone for most of my pregnancy on deployment.

Do you remember what the heart rate was at most of your appointments?
no

What do you remember most about your second appointment?
All that I remember is that in the month of Sept I was told I had an abnormal pap from when they did the pap smear in Aug. They did a biopsy in Oct and everything was fine. Sure did freak me out for a whole month tho!

Did you get good profile pictures at your 'big' sonogram?
Yes. It was amazing. Something I'll always remember.

Was the gender easily identified?
First she said girl, but then after she was looking for other things he opened up his legs and I said, "Um I think that is a weewee". and she said, "Yes you're right!" haha. She confirmed 3 times just to make sure.

Oh man, I can't remember! I think it was a rattle? Idk I was going to garage sales and thrift stores for a while and I got quite a few stuff.

back pain starting and I was getting my insomnia back.

When did you have your baby shower?
I had it when I was still in my 2nd trimester, in Nov. I had to have it then because my husband was done with deployment right before Christmas and after the holidays we moved back to VA. I was in Iowa with my parents while he was gone.

What was the best gift you received?
I got a lot of good stuff. I'd have to say his bedding (from my parents). Oh and his Fisher Price reclining chair from Chris's aunt. He loves that thing and we've gotten good use out of that.

How much did you weigh at your last appointment?
132, gained 32 lbs total. Day after my appt I went into labor.

How much did they guess the baby weighed?
They never checked or guessed. I only got 2 ultrasounds. Actually 3, but not technically. I think it was my last or 2nd to last appt I asked for a quick one so Chris could see Caleb because he was gone for both ultrasounds. So my dr let us do it for a few min. He even switched it over to the 3d/4d so that was really cool. But we didn't get pictures printed out.

Did the baby move much?
Oh yes, hiccuped ALL the time. I hated those.

Throughout your pregnancy did you have any cravings?
No only toward the end I craved deserts and chocolate!

Did you ever count kicks?
No didn't reallly have to he was always active.

Did you go on a 'babymoon'?
don't really know what that means...

Were you in maternity clothes?
no

Did you get any stretch marks?
allllll over my ass. Actually they're not THAT bad, their just small. And I got tiny ones on my thighs and the week before I had him I got 2 on my tummy. I was mad about that. But thank god they are fading finally.

Did the daddy love your belly?
oh yeah. He loved to feel him move.

What was the best part of Trimester 3?
Having my husband home finally, knowing I'm almost done, having an excuse to be lazy  

Worst?
The back pain, insomnia but being tired at the same time, walking around with a huge ass belly and wobbling around, and it scared me when I went into pre-term labor at 34 weeks.

I actually had to tell my roommate first so that she could drive me to get some more pregnancy tests.
Why did you think you were pregnant? 
.. I was being irresponsible and unprotected, and my period was a week late (though I'm super irregular).

I peed in a plastic up, dumped 5 tests in it, then all of them came out positive and dark.
What brand of HPT did you use? 
4 from the pink box.. Early Response? And 1 purple box one.. I don't know what it's called.
How long did you wait to tell your parents? 
4 weeks.
How far along were you when you had your first appointment? 
16 weeks.
What stuck out about your first appointment? 
The OB was suuuuper nice and excited for me even though he was Asian and knew I was an unmarried teenager.

Yes, 1 pair of secret belly fit jeans at 30 weeks.

When I was watching TV and noticed my boyfriend sliding his fingers across my thighs.. which were totally cellulite-ridden.. he called it 'cheese'.. gross.
Was the daddy excited that you were showing? 
Very! He misses it now.. so do I.. I wish I were pregnant again.

150-160 every time.

Second appointment was my 2nd ultrasound at 29 weeks. It confirmed I was having a girl (much to my boyfriend's wishes).

Yes, at 29 weeks. The 4D ones were kinda scary looking, though.
Was the gender easily identified? 
It was difficult trying to see because she had her legs close together (which my boyfriend said was very unlike me.. pfff.. so mean), but we looked from underneath and we saw the hamburger!

Never. Friends just brought gifts when they visited me or when we went out for dinner to hang out during school days.

A really cute pink baby sweater from Colors of Benneton.

151 when I went in for L&D.

They didn't. At 29 weeks, she was 2lbs. 11ozs. At birth (9 weeks later), she was 6lbs. 11ozs.
Did the baby move much? 
Only too much kicking because she was head down reaaaally early and stayed that way.

Yeah.. everything I couldn't have like SODA, SUSHI, HOT RAMEN.. unhealthy stuff.

No, I just made sure there was enough kicking every day.

Being without my boyfriend for 3 weeks. He was in Bolivia, but came back a week before the baby came. But I hated him soooo much during those 3 weeks and will never forget how lonely I was without him and the physical presence of a baby.

I want to get pregnant again. I'M NUTS!!! But, really.. it was such a great experience.
