Sex Postpartum

Im only like two weeks postpartum & i already had sex .   ... im like freaked out that im going to get like an infection of some kind...

I already stopped bleeding, its weird I stopped bleeding completely like 1 week after.
I couldnt resist... i had to have sex. PROTECTED of course  

How many of you waited the full 6 weeks?
How many of you didnt?

Woah... this is my first pregnancy so Im just curious... Is everything, hrm, normal down there to be havin sex?I guess I kinda imagined things to be a little chaotic for atleast a month..

i havent had my baby yet but i am so scared of how much it will hurt afterwards! I will probably wait in fear for the whole 6 weeks! lol

It's been over 10 weeks and I still haven't had sex.. I heard it hurt the first time after you have a baby so I'm freaked out.

like omg mabey you should have waited.

I imagine that you didn't tear??? I don't know about the whole medical thing, but I know TONS of people that didn't wait the whole 6 weeks...In fact my first OB said that it was COMMON for people to come to their 6 week check up alread a couple weeks pregnang. I waited 3 weeks..I tore, and waited til I was no longer sore...

aha, i know everyone i asked is like wtf you had sex already?

well i didnt have any problems during delivery, like i didnt rip or anything like that. 
so i felt fine like after birth...
but with my first baby i waited like 2 months before i had sex . so im not too sure if its like OKAY to have sex way early.....

i barely made it to the six weeks, because i was scared of not being competely healed and of course getting preggers again! two weeks, wow ur brave!!

I waited the full 6 weeks and longer. Its so dangerous. Even if it was protected you have to remember that your body has been thru a big trauma and your uterus is a big open wound. Not trying to sound bitchy but it was really stupid. The smallest bacteria could cause a HUGE infection.

SAME HERE.after i had the baby i felt soo good and no comps. then i felt beat up.

With my first I had a 4th degree tear so sex that soon was out of the question. With my second I had a c-section so it was pretty much the same deal. I think the only thing that thedoctors really worry about would be you becoming pregnant so soon after having your baby. It would be horrible for your body.

I waited the 6-weeks.
