Breastfeeding Question

My son is now one month old and I have been breastfeeding him. I had a rough start breastfeeding but after the first week everything started working out great. We went on vacation last week and throughout the vacation I had to leave my son for long periods of time and so he was fed formula because I do not get much when I pump. Now I just don't seem like I have hardly any milk because I wasn't feeding him on our schedule or expressing the milk. Does anyone know how I can build my milk supply back up. This is the first of my three children that I have breastfed so I don't know a whole lot about it. I have been nursing him constantly since we have been back because he just doesn't seem to be getting completely full. If anyone has any suggestions on how to build my milk back up I would greatly appreciate it because I don't want to have to quit breastfeeding.

I just started trying to get my supply back after being dried up for almost 3 months. Take Fenugreek or drink Mother's Milk Tea. And keep putting him to the breast. The more you do the more you'll produce. You can get Fenugreek at GNC or any store like it.

Feed as much as possible, and pump in between. If you continue having problems I would contact a lactation consultant.

Thanks for the advice. Where can you get the mothers milk tea? Is Fenugreek a pill or liquid?

Um I'm not sure about the tea, I'm not drinking it. But Fenugreek is a pill. I've started this process 5 days ago and nothing so far, but 1) I haven't had my milk in a while so I anticipated this and 2) I have heard good things about Fenugreek.

You can get both Mothers Milk tea and Fenugreek at GNC. The tea has a terrible taste kinda like black licorice   but the Fenugreek does work. My son is 8 weeks old and I had to get it because hewent through agrowth spurt and it didn't seem like hewas gettingenough. Good luck!
