I hate girls. At school we have these meetings with the teen mommies. These 2 same adults (Parents as Teachers)come in and teach us about our babies milestones in pregnancy and after their born and we just get to talk about being mommies. At our last meeting they asked what we where all doing this summer. Everyone of us was working, I being the only one working full time, except for this girl, she said, "oh I got fired so I am taking a break this summer" like WTF? First off she and her baby THRIVE off her mom and grandma and she does nothing. My mom would have kicked me out and kept Morgan. And why wouldent you want to take care of your baby?! I mean, its these types of girls like make everyone look bad. I do everything for my baby. I still have not gone out by myself for more then 10 minutes lol. And most of these girls dump their baby on who ever they can. Gr.

There's not much you can do about it...It sucks, but...

Just remember that your little girl will appreciate the hands-on approach you took to raising her...And that you took on the responsibility yourself...

Yeah, it just, I feel bad for these poor moms. They where done having babies, and they may love their grandchildren but prob. dont want to spend every last dime they have on a child thats not even theirs plus for this one girl her mom does all the driving and takes him to the doctor and wic appts. Its like geez, do you not respect your mother at all?

Sad truth is some adult women do the same thing. If there is someone there to help them out and enable them, they will take it. Just be proud of who you are and the great mommy you have become!

Yeah, but to me its like, us teens have something to prove, not to other people but to ourselves and our babies. And the other thing that gets me is why are they not motivated to do better everytime they look into their babys eyes?

Just lazy and selfish...

I dont feel she's necessarily selfish because when I have my baby I want to take a break also . If your mom has the money and is willing to help you out for a couple of months , then theres nothing wrong with that , your lucky . However ,
she should plan to get back on her feet as soon as the summer's over .

Boo hoo. Be pissed. Your not the only teen mom who works her ass off and takes care of her baby. Some little girl is always going to make us look bad. Who cares. Just worry about you and your child. Not the general population of teen mothers. You know. If some bim bo wants to be lazy and slack off, who really cares? Its not you. And even if all the teen moms in the worls were as high and mighty as you and I, we will still get looked down on. No matter what. So get use to it hun.

I hear ya im on a six month break so far from work!!! My hubby takes care of us and we live with my mom until we can get our own place i would work but no daycares in our area are excepting infants so im just ganna babysit for money like i am now until my son is 7 months!!!
