I lost my mucous plug today, and had my membranes stripped, I'm 1cm dialated and 70% effaced! How long was it for labor to begin after losing your plug?

Goodness girl you are right where i am BUT i am 65 % effaced, 4 cm dialted, and lost my mucas plug and had my membranes striped, And i am still not having my baby I hope you have better luck then i am

2 weeks...and I was at 2 cm and contracting. But that doesn't mean it will go that way for you !

With my son I lost my mucus plug and had my membranes stripped. I started having contractions that night and just NEW he'd come. It was almost 2 weeks later that my water broke. Labor never started on it's own and they ended up having to give me pitocin to start contractions. I'll be wishing you a better outcome though!

lost my plug on tuesday water broke thursday and aubrey was born saturday! Good luck!!
