there is no certain age...my daughter still doesn't sleep through the night and she's almost 6 months...would ur mom really have a problem if your baby woke up once to eat?

My son doesn't hardly sleep through the night for me, but he always has when he stayed with gmas. For some reason, he never cried or anything when he was away from home. It's just up to you and your baby.

no she wouldnt have a problem with it at all, i just feel guilty already that im leaving to have fun so i dont wanna make it worse by knowin my parents are doing MY job.

plus my dad will probably yell and scream if the baby wakes him up at night (hes grumpy)

I was told by a Doctor that three months is the average. He also said that if the baby still isn't sleeping threw the night by five months it's due to the routine the parents have. (Sleeping threw the night is about six hours for an infant.)

My opinion is.... you won't want to leave the baby when it gets here. You still have some time left so I totally understand you wanting to have some fun after the baby comes.... but I bet once you see that gorgeous baby you'll not wanna go.

I doubt you will want to go the first 10-12 weeks (or at all, i hate being apart from my son), they are eating constantly in the beginning and dont sleep for more than a few hours at a time, day or night. It totally depends though, but id say generally by 3 months they will sleep for 5-6 hours, surely that would be enough for the few days your mum was babysitting?
