As I post this you should get a "1 topic replies" notification when you are at your "my profile" link. I'm asking what you think the number means...

i thought it was each new topic with a new reply.. 1 reply each but then it shows me a number when i have no new ones.. so it confuses me... and i think my explaination sounded much better in my head :-s

It's sort of a trick question. I am wondering which of the two makes more sense (i.e. I am not convinced I have it set up in the most informative way).

Here's a case scenario: let's say you post 2 new topics, and you get 3 replies in each topic. Shouldyour notification say "6 topic replies" (first case in poll) or "2 topic replies"?

oooh ooh oh it should say 6 right? lol. i get it now, so its option #1 like i picked...even though i didnt know for sure

I say it represent 3 replies in each topic.

I would say the 2nd one.
