medicaid covering epi?

posted 2nd Jul
My friend told me yesterday that medicaid did not pay for the epi his gf got, and that it was like 1,500 or something ridiculous like that. Anyone heard of this, or know from personal experience?. I know it all varies from state to state, but just in general?

I actually was just googling this, and your topic was the second thing that came up, I was just reading all the responses, lol. Thanks. And thank you to everyone for answering! It seems that they don't cover the circumcision though? How much does that cost?

if you get a bill for the epi, just send it into medicaid- what happens is, the doc that does the epi may be from outside the hospital and may not have all your insurance info.

And my baby's circumcision cost us $200. It depends on the doctor. Ask your gyno as well as the pediatricians office to see the difference. My gyno did a great job on my little mans "little man" LOL
