How soon do doctors induce?

usually not until you are overdue, unless medically necessary.

my friend was induced this morning and she is not due until the 20th of this month.

My Dr. said he'd "Help me out" when I reached 38 weeks..

Most of them won't before the 38th or 39th week of pregnancy I don't think unless there is a medical reason for it.

All doctors do it differently. Mine would only induce after 41 weeks.

I was just wondering...My doc said he wouldnt let me go over my due date though..

Umm not for sure..I think it is because I have a few different dates. The 21,23, and 28th. He said he wouldn't make me go past the 28th though.
