Oh man the same thing happened to me. Basically there's nothing you can do and it's not something you ate. I just wiped his face with a wet washcloth (no soap) several times a day and even gave plain baths with a little bit of baking soda.

But really, it just comes and goes. I know how you feel though, Will got the same thing around a month and I felt so bad. It looked horrible... didn't bother him though. He still gets it off and on, not as bad as that first time though!

Good luck!

Corben gets the samething...I asked his doctor about it yesterday and it's probably from milk getting on his face along with all the other things his face comes in contact with. I clean his face all the time and it's gone down but isn't gone entirely...Babys get clogged pores too, and since their body is new it takes awhile for it to adjust to the outside world...

It happened to Jackson too. He got it at about 3 weeks and it went away at about 7 weeks. He hasn't had it since! It's completely normal. Don't feel bad because it's nothing you did at all!

Penelope has it too. Funny thing it is only on one cheek. The Pedi said to keep her face clean and it should go away eventually. I read some posts on here about it and some people used Cetaphil on it.......

Mason has the fun acne going on too. My ped said not to put anything on it cause it could make their skin more irritated. Just do plain water on a washcloth but no soap. It should go away by like 7 weeks my ped said and that it gets worse before it gets better!

Breast milk!  Works wonders.  Here is Lydia before I tried it at 1 month old:

and here are her 2 month pics about a  week after I started putting breast milk on her face after/or before every feeding.  I only did it for that week and it was cleared up. Now when she gets a pimple or a bit of heat rash I do it again.

She's six months old now and has never had it like she did back then!!!

I heard breast milk works. I want to give that a try. How much do you put on their face? And how do you do it? lol...weird question right but do you put some into a cup and rub it on?
