sex after episiotomy

I had my baby may 21st and had a mediolateral episiotomy. I went for my chechup last week. (5 weeks) and he said to wait a few more weeks. Its now 6 weeks today and we both really want to. Its still kind of sore and healing, but do you think it would be ok to try? Is it possible for the inscision to tear open again? Thats what Im really scared of. But, its so hard to wait. ugh...

my baby will be one month on friday. i didnt have an episiotamy, but i tore and got stitches. aaaaand we've had sex already....3 times. it doesnt even hurt though...idk

I had a fourth degree tear and episiotomy. I would wait. Plus there are other things you can do.

i had one.. but very mild.. only one stich.. I was afraid at first to .. but we have been for the past 2 weeks i'll be 6 weeks pp on the 7th...it didn't hurt.. just the next day i was a lil sore

If its still sore and hurting i would wait... my episiotomy was bad and i didnt have sex for like 10 weeks... and even then it hurt...

WOW you guys make me feel like a bad partner.... Im almost 4 months pp and Kyle and I have only had sex maybe a dozen times, and thats being generous... I tore and had stitches and sometimes when we have sex it still hurts a little!

I had an episotomy and about 5 stitches. I was sore for a while and all but then about a week ago noticed everything felt pretty healed up and all. My stitches were gone too. So I finally let my guy have some. I am 5 weeks PP now and we were careful. It was a little uncomfortable but not painful. It is still a little sore but not bad. I just suggest using a lot of lube and taking it SLOW! Stop if it hurts but mine didn't like I said just uncomfy alittle.

So, I wont tear back open if its been 6 weeks? Im so scared that might happen or something

haha lol... iam 3 weeks pp and my man ... wants some reall bad ! i dont know what to do...lol...i am thinking to wait atleast one or two weeks more i feel fine!!! i got like 2 stitches only !! from the inside should i wit longer than that??
