Anyone else go a little nuts?
I have two, one at Target and one at Babies R us (i'll put em up if anyone wants...) The Babies R Us one has the total neccessties and stuff I really want (like the sleepy bear with silkie... It has the heartbeat sounds; my brother loved it and so did my cousin so I totally want one)
But target is sooo inexpensive I just am going nuts with my wants.... Pretty much everything from the Classic Pooh Collection ( I love classic stories... for eg., I wanted to do peter rabbit but Dear bf wasn't going for it...) a bumbo, a boppy... I just can't help it! It's a good thing I'm broke right now, hehehe....

I wish i would have made more than one registry, i registered at babies r us, but they were so expensive, i got way more stuff than i needed, but people bought it from other places so i didn't get to pick it out.

i got a little excited at first. After my baby showers I got the rest of the items I really needed. Then got some wants....then pretty much decided the rest would be wasting money. I wanted to make sure to have money saved for diapers/rainy days, etc. Of course, don't get me wrong...I got plenty of those 'absolutely cutest things', lol.....and still do when I see them. For example...a Black Label Society onesi for almost $30 wasn't a need, but SUPER cute!! Endulge a little, why not?!

I registered at walmart and kmart, I wanted to keep it local so people wouldn't have to drive an hour to a store I registered out. Plus the only big thing we still need is a swing and maybe a high chair. We mostly registered for a bobby, blankets, sleepers for 3-6 mo, bath towels, wash cloths, swing, bouncy seat, sheets, stuff like that. Nothing too expensive, the swing we want is only $60. I'm just curious to see if we will get anything off our registeries because so many people don't even look at them.

don't worry about it! people will appreciate the range in prices and the option to buy from either place.

After my wedding i realized most people don't bother looking at registeries. with my wedding we registered at 4 different places, and got several things off of each of them, but I kind of wished I had parred down my registeries to get the things I needed most if people decided to use them.
So for my baby registry I just registered at BRU since they had the biggest selection of what I wanted, even though I don't live anywhere near one (registered online). At my shower I got about 4 or 5 things off of it (out of 24 items on registry) (i only registered for things i thought would be really useful). I think if I had put a lot of extras on it that weren't super important to me, I may not have received the few things I did that i really needed.
But if that happens to you, at least you can return stuff, but from experience I regret going too crazy for my wedding registry. GL!
(edited to say my 2 baby showers were in another state where BRU are everywhere)
