Anniversary trip + gift?

Our first anniversary, (long time from now but) we're spending a week in Jamaica at the Montego Bay Sandals Resort and I was wondering since that's huge trip and it costed so much, should I still get him a little something for a gift? It takes lots of thinking for ideas for gifts for him. He's so hard to buy for lol.

You could make him a little something...or get your favorite picture of you two framed or something. When we're tight on money and a gift giving occasion comes up I always go the gift giving route or thoughtful route, it will mean more than something huge and expensive.

You could do a special activity or go out for an especially nice dinner while you're on vacation if you don't want to get a gift. Or, make a small photo album or framed collage of photos and souveniers (like ticket stubs or shells and things) from your vacation when you get home and give that to him, so he has something to remember his special trip by.
