bored yet busy........post partum with #2

Well ladies, I am 7 weeks post from having Audrey and things are starting to fall into place, besides a couple of things. I want to talk about these things with you all because I want to see if any of you are going through similar situations.

1. Yay for sex, but it's nerve wrecking! All I can think about is "am i gonna get pregnant?" TMI, but we haven't used protection besides the pull out method.....so the only 4 times that we have done it, I am a tad scared.......it only takes one little spermy.

2. Yay for birth control, lol. I can't start it until I get my first period though! When did you all get yours? I breastfed the first month, so I should be expecting it pretty soon I hope.......sigh......it was nice not getting a period.

3. I am balancing a 7 week old and a 2 year old........wow. I find myself hiding in the house a lot because it's such a pain in the ass to chase Nathan around with a little baby in my arms..........he stares out at the kids playing in the pool and I feel so bad  I can't even find time to cook up dinner for my husband because every spare second I get to relax, I relax, lol.. Is that bad?

4. My body looks like a deflated balloon........dammit. A tad depressed about that, but what do you expect after having 2 nine pound babys in 2 years. Any one else miss their jeans?

Can you tell I am bored? I just wanted to throw some of my thoughts out there about post partum, and how it's been. Final thoughts: I pray I am not preggo again, and I am determined to cook dinner tonight, haha. Happy summer

Condoms are a wonder. I know they aren't the greatest but it is protection.

Get a sling it makes things a lot easier. Bring the PnP outside and put it in some shade. Get a crock pot you can throw stuff in there and let it cook all day. Then it's ready for dinner. Take shortcuts use paper plates...less cleanup!

It will start tightening back up. It took 9 months to gain all that weight! Give yourself some credit!

Right.........it totally ruins my mood. Don't get me wrong, babies are a blessing, but with number 2, holy crap it's nuts! We didn't realize how easy Nathan was being 2! It's starting from scratch in every way.........the feeding, the diapers, the sleepless nights, the crying, my body..........but the good things come with too of course.......watching them grow, first everything, teaching them how to do everything..........
I can't wait for BC and I still will have to be careful for the first month! Grrr.

We need to get some condoms for sure, haha. I actually just bought a sling today, so I am anxious in using it. It will help BIG time..........walks, cleaning, EVERYTHIN! Thanks hun

(I totally understand.The first time my husband and I had sex I was so scared even though we used a condom)

(I'm breastfeeding and just got my period a week ago.My son is 2 months&3 weeks along.And was hoping I wouldn't get it for longer lol.)

(I feel the same way!It's so overwhelming with two little ones.My daughter is 4 1/2 and a diva!Though she's a big helper with things she still has her lil crabass moments....It's a struggle to leave the house so I don't very much.)
