Head down

So i went to the doctor today and she said that the baby is head down already when did you other ladies that are farther along get told that your baby was head down and do you know if that means they are close to being born?

Baby still has room to turn back around. Head down doesn't mean that you will have baby soon it just means they are getting into position.

that had nothing to do with them being born. they just need to be head down to have a vag birth. they can still turn too.

i am 35 weeks and my babys head was head down at 33 weeks

My baby was head down at like 24 weeks or so. It does'nt mean they are getting close to be born it just means that they are getting ready you're body and baby are getting ready through out the entire pregnancy. So do'nt take this as a sign that your time is getting close.

hey. i went to a 30 week chek up and my babys head was down 1/5 of the way into the pelvis. but a few weeks b4 that he felt like hes head was down. mayb his head was down frm eariler he still moves a lot though.  

i'm almost 35 wks. and i saw my baby head down at 33wks

thanks ladies for all of your comments i just was curious but its hard for me to push on my stomach and feel where she is because i'm not a doctor and i can't distinguish what is a head or hand or whatever

I just had another ultrasound last wednesday and they told me she was head down at 25 weeks and 2 days. But she could have moved from that time. I hope she stays that way!
