Medicaid

so I was on it before and a little bit after I had my son...they sent me child support papers for me to fill out but i live with my boyfriend (my sons daddy) so I told them I didnt want to or have the need to do child support because he's already supporting us. So they cut me off. but i need it for a couple more months. I call the lady and shes just absolutely rude to me and so is everyone else in that place. and wont answer any question i have...how can I get back on medicaid

With my first one to get medicad for her, I had to sign papers saying that he would pay me and keep her on his health insurance, but he didn't really have to pay. It wasn't a legal thing. I don't know.

Did they know that you lived with your boyfriend? Did you claim his income on your paperwork?

Did they know you lived with the father from the beginning? Or did you tell them that after he was born. What info did you give them about the dad?

Kind of different but, I was cut off because I wouldn't let my children get immunized!! They were really rude to me about it too. Called me stupid for not giving them shots.

I don't know why they would do that, if he lives with you? Just fill out another form and include him on it. You would probably all get medicaid as a low income family (if those are the circumstances).

you might want to check into that because i have several friend who arent immunizing until after 2 years old and they arent cut off

If you are living with the dad and not married then it still counts as him being part of the income you have. They would have to recheck the amounts. I'm not married and living with the father, if I was to fill out the paperwork properly(include the father)I wouldn't be approved.

You'll ahve to go there to plead your case. You'll need proof of income/support, address. If your bf has insurance he can put the baby on itand see about putting you on his plan too if you guys have lived together longer then a year.

If not then you ened to tell them that you ahve a childand neither of you haveinsurance. Calling does no good you gotta get in someone's face and use tears if you have to!!!

No, thats what I was kind of trying to say. I'm not on medicaid, because we don't qualify. I've had TONS of family and friends and strangers tell me to lie, but I've seen them go back on one too many people. . .
