D and C and swimming

I had a D and C last thursday... i need to weeks "pelvic rest" they said no baths bec of like bath scum bacteria, can i go swimming in a pool?

i would think that if you cant take a bath then the pool would be out.

Your not supposed to wear tampons, so if your still bleeding I would advise against it

I have had a DNC and umm sorry no pool. But your bleeding so that wouldn't be very good to go swimming with other people...... while you are bleeding. And the risk of an infection, pools are filthy.

Even if there wasn't a risk of infection (which there is), I would say no for this reason alone... Eww.
