help!!!!!

ok i have a question im 37 weeks and i lost my mucus plug about 3 weeks ago buti have been having serious cramps but none to close are nothing like that the baby has droped and is in her birth postion but ihavnet been checked to see if im dailated are anything and i was wondering for all you moms out there how did you know you was dialting if you doctor didnt check you

Yeah.. I totally thought I was prob. dialated to 3 cm bc of all the pain and contractions ive been having AND i just knew she had dropped bc of how my tummy looks... but sure enough today at my apt he checked and said she is still riding high up and im only partially dialated and effaced and he wants to give it another week before scheduling induction... sucks. I feel like my vagina is ripping open allready and so now im terrified.

I thought if your stomach moved down then that means the baby had dropped....my tummy has moved down a lot and it looks and feels a lot like he's dropped. So he could still be up high and not planning on coming down anytime soon??  He had better come out by the 14th! lol I hope your baby decides to come out soon and stop torturing her mommy!
