re: barbie legs???

haven't had too much of that up front, but i do have extreme lower back pain, right around the same place that Barbie's torso connects to her hips. it feels like something is going to snap in there.

Pain located in the hip area (where Barbie's legs attach) is round ligament pain. It's caused by all the stretching from the baby and can be very very painful. We actually have patients come in with it frequently and the doctors send them home with tylenol with codeine tablets to help with the pain. As for sciatic nerve problems...that would be the shooting pain that goes down the back of your leg and up to your butt check. There are exercises you can do to help with the pain of both.
