your 36 week ultrasounds

i had a ultrasound today he estimated to weigh 7ibs 6oz currently

yeah, at my 36 week u/s w/ my oldest they said he was 7lbs 8oz/ He was born at 42 weeks and only weighed 6lbs 7oz. THEY WERE WAYYYYYYYY OFF lol

I dont know if I am gettine a 36 week u/s I am 36 weeks, but doc hasnt said anything about it... so should all preggos get one at this stage?

They can be up to 15% off either way, very common.

i was told at my doctors office that they only due 2 ultrasounds unless they think something is wrong.. is it common to get one around 36 weeks? because im going to be 35 weeks tomorrow and my appt is right around my 36 weeks.. and i was told i was just getting a vaginal check up..

with my son my 36wk ultra sound he was measuring 7lbs 4oz and was born 7lbs 9oz

Don't worry hun, I got one u/s during my pregnancy. It was at 20 weeks.

i get one cause i have hyperthyroidism

Mine was right!   My OB said between 7 1/2 and 8 pounds; he was 7 lbs 12 oz.

i only get 2 during my whole pregnancy. One was at 13 weeks, the other was at 19 weeks. So i guess I will find out how much she weighs when she gets here!! Cause i am 37 weeks, and no u/s here!

I have had a few, but that is bc I had some problems. (bleeding, contractions ect) but I was dont know if I will get another... I am 36 weeks, so what do you guys think? I want to know how big my baby is... at 32 weeks she was right under 5lbs, So how much do you think she will be at 38-39 wks when they induce?

I had an ultrasound at 36 weeks but that's because they've been monitoring her kidneys because of an apparent blockage. They said she weighed about 5lbs 13oz which seems kinda small to me but I know they can be off. My family has a history of big babies so if she comes out less than 8lbs I'd be shocked.

it all depends on the dr. I had a lot of u/s because I was high risk. Some docs do one, some two some three. (one in each trimester)

see i was told that they are supposed to do one in each stage to but then my doctors said they only due 2 unless there is a problem.. the last time i had an ultrasound i was 20 weeks.. now all they do is check the length of my belly and hear the heartbeat..

How do they really know that there is nothing wrong if they dont do an ultrasound?
