Temp

posted 1st Jul
I've always gotten cold very easily, and since I've been pregnant I've been even more sensitive to the cold. My dad is a big guy and gets hot easy, but he always keeps the house soooo cold. The fans are always on so the only room I can be in without bringing a big blanket with me is my room because I shut off the vent. All I really want when I'm in the living room is for the fan to be shut off so I don't have to wrap myself in a blanket but all he does is turn it back on and get kindof irritated at me for turning it off in the first place. I wish I could talk to him, but he is helping me with this whole pregnancy thing until my guy is done training for the Air Force and I am able to move.

Am I being selfish for wanting the temperature to be comfortable for me during my pregnancy?

i froze james out of the bed when i was pregnant with alex   I was the pregnant one and he said i was the one who needed to be comfortable and he would suffer with it for me, but boy he didn't suffer quietly! EVERYONE knew how i was always hot and on and on, but hey at least i was comfortable, lol

I am sorry that you have to go through that. I know that it gets frustrating. I always have the house really cool. I even sleep with a fan on so I can bundle up. I think that you should just start to wear layers in the house. lol I know that you want it to be warmer, but he is the one that pays the bills and he is helping you out. So I guess it is "what he says, goes..". I know that it must be upsetting, but you should just bundle up and kind of deal with it. Or you could maybe ask him to turning it up a couple degrees and maybe it will work. Who knows..
