Hey there- me too! And now with this one I have been having pre-term labor- irregular contractions with tons of presure. Guess where? In my back! I was telling my bf that I knew this one was going to be face-up too and, after having an ultrasound yesterday, yep- she is. Argh! I hope she turns before she delivers cause back labor is no fun at all (my son was an all-natural birth- no pain relief at all with 28 hours of labor, 8 of them stuck at 8 cm in transition cause my little guy wouldn't turn- ouch!!!! this time I will have pain meds!).

In any case- contact your docs and see what they say. You are so close to your due date. You could certainly be in labor. Good luck hon and keep us posted when you can!

I had same back pains with my last pregnancy. I was advised by my obgyn after I give birth to my youngest..I should try more back exercises and legs 2..I am so preparing myself this time around. I have been doing those exercises 10 minutes a day. Try asking your doctor or look it up in the parenting mags.. Hope this helps girl.

I felt the same way DAYS before I had my son. i ended up having back labor and my baby came out face up! if worst comes to worst and you end up having back labor, i suggest laying in the tub and try sterile water injections if you dont want to have an epidural!
