My baby's name!

My boyfriend and I just picked out our baby boy's name! Everyone pretty much hates it but I love it   His name is Damian James Sweeney! Feel free to comment - wether you like it or not dont be shy!

Damian is overused, in my opinion.. but if it works for you and your guy, thats all that matters

i personally wouldnt use it, but if you like it go for it!!

I have never heard Damian before...

I love it, only spelled Damien.
I wanted to name (in the future) a boy Damien because it's a name my brother (killed himself August '07) wanted for a child.
My boyfriend doesn't like my brother though

Do you really think so?? Its not all that popular where I live, reason being so many people dislike the name. But thank you for being honest

I don't know where people get off saying they hate the name you have chosen for your child!!! that makes me mad... and for that reason, even if it's a "nice" opinion, hubby and i are not telling our names until the kid is born. i really like the name you have chosen. it flows well. good luck!!!!!

Thank you!!! I wanted to keep the name secret until the baby was born but my boyfriend couldn't wait 2 1/2 more months haha. Good luck with yours  

i thought ofusing that name but then ithought of that little boy from the omen, and threw it out the window. but i do think its cute, it just wasnt for me. and i love his last name, sweeney! lol

i dont know of anyone named Damien so thats why i chose it for my son's middle name coz i needed something with the letter D for a family tradition i have..

mine will be Jett Damien
i prefer it spelled with the e. i have seen a lot of people spell it with the a instead though.

it supposively means to tame or subdue. i like it.

i think you chose a great strong name for him, thats not too ordinary or too outlandish. good job mama!
