i need advice!!

i made the mistake of having my lil boy sleep in bed with me and my hubby, now he wont even nap in the crib...i need advice on how to transition him into the crib, otherwise...he will be sleeping with us untill he's in high school ;) lol..no, but really...moms! HELP!

thats what i was thinkin....i just feel terrible because as soon as he is in the crib he starts screaming...my mom said to just let him cry, but you know how that can tug at your heart strings

i know!! Its sad but when my kids cry i cant help but smile or laugh cause they are so cute lol

i would only let him cry for maybe 8 to 10 minutes.... then go in there. rub his back or something that he likes and wait until hes just about to fall asleep and walk out VERY QUITELY!!! (sp) .. that way hes still falling asleep on his own and will eventually get used to it... it may take a week or so of doing this but it will work!!!! i had to do it with my son at about the same age.. maybe a little earlier!!

OMG..OMG.. IM RIGHT THERE WITH YOU.. No joke.. Scarlet won't sleep in her crib at all. It can be hard...people say let the baby cry but, I tried that and that just makes you feel bad. I don't suggest going the crying route it sucks worse.Everyone told me to let scarlet cry.I tried it doesn't work either. The babies are use to sleeping in bed with you..So now it is up to you to try and break it. I started to just sit in the room with her over the crib then sneek out.. it is hard at first but, then he will get use to it. Turn on the mobile if you have one or soothing music.. I know it is going to suck at first.. I still lay down next to her sometimes to nap cause she won't go to sleep alone.. Did the same thing with ally too.. It is hard you love having the babies next to you..

i love sleeping with him...but, my friend has a 3 year old that sleeps with her and the thought of sleeping in his own bed is terrifying to him and i really dont want that to happen with noah...plus, it would be kinda nice to snuggle with my hubby again!!!! ;)

hahahhaa me and husband have been going through this past week trying to get baby to sleep anywhere but our bed she has a totally rad nursery and is never in it for anything other than the changing table..... i have had horrible morning sickness and had to just let her cry other night she cried for 40 minutes and i cried to i went in every ten minutes or so between barfing but it just seemed to make her more upset please let me know what works im killing myself over here shes just getting to big to squeeze in our queen size bed together

noah has the coolest room too!!!! i have the same crib as you with matching changing table..cool paintings made by my hubby..and we ONLY use it for the changing table...its starting to become a storage unit now..i started putting some boxes in there..ugh..so annoying.

i tried to move the crib into my bedroom (just now)....so he could at least be in the same room during this transition...and the damn crib is too big to fit thru the doorway...taking apart a crib and putting it back together sucks!! oh brother.
