Okay so the BD gave in awhile back and said she could jus' have my last name b/c he wants her to have only his and i don't want that AT ALL. So if i have to do this which way do you think looks better??

& i our last names clash so bad! i hate it. poor little girl. lol

If so, you should put his last name first so it will be easier for her to go by in scool and stuff.

We aren't together and had an extremely rough start w/ this whole pregnancy. he wasn't there for the first 4-5 months. & he's gotten mad enough to threaten custody crap, even though i know he wont do it, i jus' dont want to give her his last name.

Well at the end of the day its up to you what last name she gets. If you two arent together then maybe its best that she has the same last name as you but in saying that, you will eventually get married & she wont have your last name anyway. My hubby has 2 sons to previous relationships, he wasnt married to them & his sons have his last name. Which i'm glad it was done that way because now my son will have the same last name as his brothers.

true true. we're fighting over it right now. he doesnt want it the double last name way he's giving me a choice of either his or my last name so i'm going w/ mine he can F off   lol

why doesnt he want to have the double last name?? I think thats a reasonable thing to do if you ask me!

When I had my son I gave him only my last name. The father stoped talking to me when I was pregnant then towards the end wanted to be around then stopped coming around when my son was three months old. My son is three yrs old now. So, I think it's up to you.

my daughter has my last name and her daddy and i r still together. we had rough start too thats why i put my name on hers just to pretty much protect her. justin (my bf) wanted erica to have his last name too. but its your choice in the end.

Hyphenate them and put his first (I.e. His-Yours)... That way you can just use your's but his will be there "legally".
