How long did you..

Drive yourself around while you were preggo?
A ton of people are suprised when i tell them im still driving myself just about everywhere..my hubby doesnt want me driving after 36 weeks just in case something happens while im driving...
So how long did you drive before you eventually started getting rides?

ha honey i drove the day i delivered. you are a lucky duck

i drove a 8 hr trip by myself when i was 36 weeks, and would drive around town when i got the car-but i didnt last past 37 weeks.

I drove up until I delievered.

All the way up to delivery. It never occured to me someone would think I couldn't/shouldn't drive myself.

I drove up until I delivered. I almost drove myself to the hospital b/c DH was freaking out!  

I still do it.. I have to drive an hour to school and anhour back everyday. and I am in early stages of labor too. my husband dont like it, but I gotta get to school, even with these serious pains I am having.

I drove till the day before I delivered. My hubby drove the day of. We went shopping   I don't think it's a big deal, just be a little more cautious than usual.

LOL, i drove myself to the hospital last time the day i delivered!! I was 40w5d...

I did drive myself to the hospital the day I had my son....

However, I was induced so I wasn't in REAL labor. I was 10 days OD though

My hubby is military and we don't live near family. He has to be gone a lot so I have no choice. Even when he is home he prefers that I drive because he get so irritated with the idiots on the road and I manage to stay calm. With my first I dove right up to the day before and I suspect I will do the same with this one. My doc said to just angle the steering wheel up a little so the air bad isn't aimed right at your belly.

my fam and husband made me stop at 35 weeks......my belly got on the way anyway so it was hard to drive. i didnt want to get in a car accident risking my babys life and mine... 

I am 36 weeks tomorrow and I have a dr appt Thursday I am driving myself too. My first pregnancy I didn't drive past 28 weeks but I was so huge I could barely fit behind the wheel ( I was having twins ).

I drove until I had my baby... and I was almost 42 weeks by then
