birthday presents?

So my little girls big # 3 is coming up and I really don't know what to get her! We don't really want to get toys again, because well we have too many as it is, and I already went through and got rid of about 2 trash bags full! I don't really want to get her clothes either, because that isn't really a birthday to me, and I am sure taht others will get her clothes.... so any suggestions? We are kinda tight on money this year bc of the baby coming and such but she still needs a birthday! I think we are going to get her som earrings, bc she loves to get new earrings... but any other suggestions? thank you!

What about a special trip just for her? Like to a zoo or someplace she would enjoy. A small gift plus a trip with mommy and daddy would be something special.

That's what I was going to say, take her to the zoo, or to go swimming at a hotel pool, or lake, kids love it!!

thank you, I guess that I didn't really think about taking her somewhere, we don't have many options around us, and we already hit the zoo 2 times this year, we just took her to the movies over the weekend (to see Wall-E) so maybe we can figure out something else to do.. maybe daddy and I will take her fishing, she likes to go fishing! thanks again!!

what about books....I always loved reading and enjoyed getting new books...then you have something educational as well. and taking her some place fun and special too

for my daughters third birthday I bought her a Dora ready bed. She had really been wanting one. I am kinda at a last as to what to get her this year. She's going to turn 4 and recently her and her sister got new toys and clothes.

well we were going to get a my little pony bed set for her, but the only way I can find them is in twin sized beds, and she has a full sized bed.. so she def. doesn't need a bed, or a bed set, bc I just went out and spent like 100 on her whole bed set, so she isn't getting a new one just yet... but that was my thought before she got the bed set she got.. thanks

I was wondering about a game like that, I saw some online earlier fopr the 3-4 age range, like hiho cherryo and stuff, and I was thinking to myself, is that really appropriate for a 3 yo... so maybe I will look into that, I am always looking for something new for me and tallia to do, so maybe that will work! thank you!

My daughter is turned 3 in June and she got the memory game. She didn't get it right away and I had to really cheat to let her win, but now she's learned how to flip cards she hasn't looked at yet first rather than always starting with the one she just flipped last time. She actually beat me last time and I didn't let her win!

I was also going to suggest books or magazines. She also got a subscription to Highlights magazine from an aunt and uncle and loves it! It comes in the mail for her and we can read from it and she really enjoys that. If money is really tight you could go to the library and get a library card in her name, just for her, then she can be a big girl and check out her own books when you go!
