ultrasounds

so i had my ultrasound at twenty weeks and my babys legs where crossed so i couldnt see what gender it was..... a couple of weeks later i had to go to the hospital bc i felt weird wetness down there and a spot a blood they checked me and said everything was alright... i have an app this thursday and they told me in my last app that they will probably not give me another ultrasoung bc everything is fine... so should i ask them for an ultra sound since i had to go to the hospital plus i want to know what gender my baby is i havent been able to do anything bc i dont know what it is help thanks

If you tell them it's to find out the baby's sex they more than likely will not give you one if the doctor says the baby is fine.

You could pay to have a 3D ultrasound & find out that way. & by now they could tell you for sure what the baby is. Plus the babies look so adorable in them.

You can always do a 3D one.....
If its not ordered by your doctor..~most~ insurance companies wont pay for it....

but i had to go to the hospital shouldnt they check if the babys positioning is fine or anything like that

I had a regular ultrasound that i had to pay for I did it in the ideal baby store and i think i had to pay 50 for it but i was able to see the gender.

When I went to the hospital for bleeding....and went to my OB...all they did was a heartbeat check.....
(for me is a u/s due to mulitples and moving they dont fool with the regular doppler...LOL)

I dont think it would hurt to ask....

i live in PA i dont think they have one of those over here

Have you thought about a 3D....they are really good...and from my understanding...they can see the gender very good.....

just about everywhere has a place you can go to get ultrasounds done.

go get a three D one done!
if you say to your doctor i want to know the sex so i would like another ultrasound he/she will more then likely reject you on spot!!
just go to a 3D ultrasound clinic and they will be able to tell you what gender the baby is!?
i have one booked for july 12th and im getting my babys gender re-assessed. (even though im 100% positivie its still going to be a girl) haha.

Ps they only do standard ones for routine or if something is wrong you should get three standard ones and hopefully no urgent ones ! 

With my first her legs were also crossed in the ultrasound. My next doctors appointment I told my doctor that I needed to find out what the baby was because I had a baby shower coming up and he did a real breif ultrasound to see what it was. A GIRL

They don't do US to check the baby's position unless they think the baby is breeched,I think.
Most doctors won't do an US just to find the gender.
Just pay to get a 3D.
Just about every state has a place where you can get one done at.

There is a BIG sign at my doctors.....for a gender scan..you have to pay out of pocket....mine as well get the 3D

If you went to the hospital if they felt you needed an ultrasound they would have given it to you right then and there, I'm surprised they didn't they must have felt the baby was perfectly fine, you can ask your doctor but if they are anytihng like mine was I got one ultrasound when I was 20 weeks and the only other reason I got one more ( I think 22 weeks) was because they thought something was wrong with my cervix. Like the ladies said you will probably have to pay for another one. Good luck tho.

do any of you ladies know where i cant get one i live in scranton pa 18505 and i cant seem to find one
