How do you pronounce Joia?

The Joia one may be hard for teachers and other peers to pronounce....

but it is more like SHOY-AH but the "sh" has a harder sound.

so it is more like ZHOY-AH... get me???

I like the sound Joia but it might be a hardship for her. I would have hated to always have my name corrected.

Simply that some people might not know why they didnt like them. I like the sound Joya buttt she might get annoyed if she has to correct people her entire life.

At first i didnt like either . Like they are okay , but maybe just because I LOVE Alanis name .

I like the girls name now that I read what it means , Im still not POSITIVE how to say it though .

I love the name Joia. That's my friends name, except it is spelled Gioia. It is hard for people to pronounce, but it's not like she can't correct 'em. I think its really pretty.

Marino is nice as well, my grandfather's name.

i love the name marino, i've never heard it before. and joia is alright, i still like adrianne too!
