Im thinking about having my baby shower at the end of july when madison is still in the nicu. The reason i want to have it at the end of july is because she will be coming home in aug, or the begging of sept. And i dont want to have it while she out of the hostpital because then everyone would want to touch and hold her, and well she is a premiee and she could get sick easy, and i know i could tell people to wash thiere hands but i dont want that many people handling my baby at all. The nurses even told me when she gets out to not take her to malls right away or anything like that.

And if i had it july it would give me time to set up and arrange the room me and her will be staying in and give me time to get everything else i might need.

and i was wondering where i could get invites.

My family is huge and they would be all over her, and i dont want to put her through that. So..im glad someone agrees with me here.

thats what im thinking. it will give me plenty of time to get the room set up and get everything organized that way im not doing things at the last min. Cuz i still need everything.

One of my friends did that. Both of her sons were preemies one a 30 weeker and one a 33 weeker. She had there showers while they were still in the hospital. I think it's a good idea.

I agree also, no need to stress her out and you as well for that matter. Good luck with planning it all out

Oh. i said i wasnt expecting but didnt know how to do the 1 kid thing but..i just changed it. Im new to this thing still. She is doing great. She is not getting milk though iv. 2 ccs a day. Yeah.. i just dont want to stress her out. she already gets fussy when i hold her. I still dont know where to get invitations through.

thank you. It will tons of planning but im having it at my moms. all i me and my mom need to do is deicde what food to provide, what games to play, and who to invite. Its going to be a busy month.

good im not the only one doing it. I mean..honestly my family will have plenty of time to see her, once she gets older, so im not too worried about it.

yeah i didnt know if you had to get them for anywhere speical or anything.

yep no just a regular everyday card store will work for that kind of stuff.
try hallmark or something even wal-mart or target!

I was going to suggest Walmart, Target, Party City, even Hobby Lobby will have the invites. Walmart has some good ones at good prices, and you can also get almost everything from there anyways for the shower
