my poor little 4 week old baby has some baby acne on his cheeks, is there anyway to prevent or get rid of this or is it something that just has to work itself out??

I would stop using any lotions if you are and see if it goes away. If it does not call your doctor.

Usually you just have to let it work itself out... its usually just from the major hormonal changes baby has been through and it should go away soon

You just gotta wait for it to go away. Its just a side effect of their little systems getting themselves working. Very common. I used Arbonne's diaper rash cream on my daughter's when she was that age at that really seemed to help, you could try that... Otherwise just wait it out! It usually doesnt last very long, maybe a couple weeks at the most.

i haven't used any lotions, sometimes formula gts on his face but I try to keep him cleaned up good, I don't know what else to do

It goes away on its own... don't try to pop the little pimp like bumps

Just leave it alone, it will eventually go away. No need to call the dr.

My 4 week old has it too. You just have to wait it out.

Don't pick at it. There is a baby who is over a year old & still has it. I think it's because his babysitter & mom pick at it a bunch because it was supposed to be gone before he hit 1.

James had that too it was so bad but it went away after a couple weeks.
