stupid

posted 30th Jun
so when my son (2yr) gets upset he walks away and says stupid..Well not that clear but you can tell what he is saying. The first time i heard it i was like whaaaaa.and was trying not to giggle( it was a complete suprise)

I really don't want him saying that . A while back he would say fuck when he dropped something or something fell off the table. I would just tell him thats not nice to say or just ignore him . He now doesnt say it anymore.

The only difference now is that he is actually calling me stupid or my hubby or his lil brother ( whoever he is mad at ) ShouldI just do the same thing?

I don't want to make a huge deal about it because lately when he knows he can get attention from doing something (good or bad) he will do it repeativly.
Yeah he is getting jealous

What do you gals think?? or what have you/will you do when the time comes?

Were is he picking it up from. Thats the first thing I would try to fix is correcting the people that say it. I know its hard but there little sponges. Then I would correct him and let him know its not right to use that language.

i'd ignore it. if he knows he's not gonna get any attention for it, he'll probably stop. tell him nice things if he deals with stuff in a good way though & he'll probably do that instead cause he knows he'll get attention for it. either that or i'd put him in time out for 5mins whenever he says it or something. my kids haven't reached that age yet so i'm not muchhelp
