Hospital bag

Ok im sure this topic has been posted plenty of times.
so if there is a link can someone just tell me and not yell. lol.

Im due. aug. 22 and when is a good time to start packin my hospital bag?
anytime really?

I had my bags packed at 30 weeks. I am a planner that loves making lists! Good Luck

actually ive read ALOT of stuff about the hospital bag. and they say you should start packing around 30 weeks. i saved alot of the stuff people have said on my word prosser ill pull the file up and give you the information. its been accumulating stuff from all different websites:
the list is for your bag
three pairs of underwear,
a nightgown,
bath stuff,
underwear pads,
breast pads,
credit card,
insurance info,
birth plan,
slippers,
socks,
ipod,
a book.
camera,
hair dryer,
cell phone/charger,
hair ties
the babys bag:
2 sleepers,
1 picture outfit,
1 going home outfit,
a few diapers,
wipes,
lotion,
powder,
hand sanitizer,
2 recieving blankets,
1 heavier blanket,

you can pack it whenever you feel like packing haha. I'm going to start laying out what I need here in a couple weeks just in case even though I'm not due for another 9 weeks but I like to be on the safe side and then pack everything I have laid out a couple weeks before hand. so if anything make a list of things you need I know there are a few places to find what you need to pack my pregnancy book that I got has a list of things to pack so I'm going off of that.

I wouldn't pack any of your own underware. I know at least in my hospital they give you these fishnet undies and provide you with pads, because you will be bleeding like a stuck pig.
I also wouldn't pack diapers in the baby's bag, because your hospital should provide you with those also.

And as far as when to pack it, I'd say whenever.
Make sure you have your toothbrush/toothpaste. You can get the travel sizes from WalMart, and don't forget one for your S/O as well. Also snacks for your S/O, and bring money because when they only feed you.

My Going home outfit
Change of clothes for hubby- Pajamas for him to stay and maybe a next day change just in case
Khyla’s picture outfit
Khyla’s coming home outfit
An extra outfit for Khyla (JIC)(Big and small size jic)
PJ's for myself..ones that i dont care for just in case they get too bloody
Robe- So that we dont share our butts with the world
Pillow - For yourself or your hubby to sleep
Bathroom stuff-
Tooth Brush - Cant have bad breath for our guest..hehe
Toothpaste
Hair brush
Hair ties and Headband - For Labor!! You dont want fuzzies in your face!
Shampoo and Conditioner
Body wash
Wash Cloth or scrubber
Razor - No hairyness allowed
Toilet Paper- We'll be soar enough, we dont need hos sandpaper
Maxi Pads - Believe it or not..we will bleed after birth
Extra Undies- If you prefer your own over adult sized diapers
Nursing Bra - If you plan on breastfeeding..if not bring a sports bra!
Boppy Pillow - For Nursing
Blankie for hubby- The hos may provide but mine prefers his own
Baby Bag (JIC) The hos usually provides this, but some dont, and you may need them if you are going to see family after the hos
Diapers
Wipes
Nipple Cream
Mittens & Socks - Dont want baby scratching themselves
Blankets- For the ride home
Slippers and Slipper socks - So you can walk around..and your feet will stay warm
Baby Nail Clippers- The nurses usually wont cut them and the mittens sometimes dont stay on
Chapstick - Ice chips wont cut it...
Phone call list - For your designated person to inform the family of the birth
Camera and charger - Need this for all the new baby pics
Phones and chargers - Need to make phone calls..dead cells are no good!
Extra memory stick for the camera - Daddy might get camera happy
I-pod an charger - Im taking mine to listen to during labor..and hubby could use it
Massagers for back labor
Hard Candy or Preggy Pops- For long labor and no food or liquids
Entertainment!!! - Labor may take a while...so be prepared
Cafeteria Money- Sure they have ATM's someplaces but not at all places!
Vending Machine Money- After the cafeteria has closed
Baby Book- The hos will do the footprints for you in the baby book
Proper Paperwork for L&D Insurance, ID and such
CARSEAT- Cant leave without it!Preparing for baby
