For Moms who had GD with Past Pregnancies

I was wondering did you have your babies early by induction or naturally went into labor before your due date? Did you have a c-section or vaginal? I have GD and just wondering what to expect. My doctor told me depending on her size she has a good chance at coming early or I have a good chance at being induced early.

i was assumjed to have GD by my dr's since i couldnt fast for the 3 hours and the 12 ahead of time...
i had a planned c section at 37 weeks, since babys of mamas with GD finish growing a bit slower, but i also has preclampsia so they HAD to do it right at 37 weeks for my health and my daughters

well I was due at 6/7/08 -greatest date to be born lol- andI ended up going into labor naturally, on 5/17/08. My doctor had set an induction date, for the 30th of may, but obviously we never made it lol.
He was born exactly on 37 weeks, at 6 pounds, 11.7 ounces, with no health complications, they do have to monitor their blood sugar though, which got me a litte upset, because they kept pricking his little feetm, and the lancets they use are huge compaired to what I was using..

Thanks ladies for your help. I am thinking that if there is a risk of me going into labor naturally earliermaybe I should take my maternity leave a little early. I work kind of far from where my hospital is. I am due August 29th but my doc told me she is measuring two weeks ahead of where she should be and he said he would probably induce me earlier anyway. I start twice a week fetal monitoring in a week. I guess I will get a better idea when she may come around. For those of you who did go into natural labor was it after a long day of walking or did it just come on while at home? I just want to know how careful I should be as far as going to all day outings and walking in these last weeks.
