I was wondering from personal experience, everyone is different. My last pregnancy I tested at 6 weeks and obviously it was accurate... I didn't know if it could find hCG in a week or two...

I think its too soon to test. I'd wait at least another week or so.

Just having had a baby your levels are going to be high already. Have you had a normal period yet? I didn't have one for, I think, 9 weeks. That will make a difference. If not you can get a false result. The best thing would be to wait for your 6 week check up and tell the doc. He should be able to tell or at least suspect and have a blood test done. Don't waist money on the over the counter tests yet, odds are you won't get a clear result.

Mm, true. I have an 8 week checkup, and thats at the end of July. However, I might end up having to go in tomorrow because of this awful pain I am having.

You could very well be pregnant. We can drop eggs right after birth and since a lot of woman are still spotting and releasing from birth you wouldn't know. But you might not. It is just really hard to gage that early after. My girlfriend was really freaked out that she was but she wasn't and it took like 3 months for her to have a period. Then again, I have another girlfriend who is only 10 months younger then her brother for the same sort of "not being careful". If you are going in anyway, just ask. Prepare yourself for a real lecture, though. If you don't like the  snide comments on here you're really gonna hate what the doc has to say, LOL. Brace yourself.

haha, true enough. Luckily my doctor is the sweetest woman on the face of the earth and I trust her so much. The other dr's in that practice... er, not so much! lol. The reason I think I might be is because my breasts are so sore, just like when I was first pregnant with my daughter! I don't breastfeed, but I do pump and give her that. And I havent had soreness since my milk came in.
