Hubby's semen analysis results

My husband got the results of his semen analysis today and the verdict: no sperm found! What does that mean? He's sterile? I just don't get it. We didn't do anything for 5 whole days. It said that everything else looked fine, the color of it and everything but no sperm found. I think he should retest but that could explain why he never got his ex pregnant or me. I don't know what to do anymore.  

mabey its not your time to have kids. god has a plan for everything.

It sounds like he may not be able to have any children. I would ask him if he was comfortable being tested again just to be sure. Did you speak to a doctor when you got the results?

No, he just picked it up today at the hospital so I could give it to my doctor. We were thinking it was me. I'm just really confused.

We haven't even got that far. He's set to deploy to Iraq at the end of the year. I guess we'll figure it all out when he gets back.

Thanks for the link. I don't know if it's genetics b/c all his male family members have children except for his one uncle but he's a crackhead and has never been married.

Hoping4aBlessing- I would def. go and have him get retested again to make sure. A second opinion can't hurt. If it does indeed come back with the same results looking into using a donor wouldn't be a bad idea as long as you both are comfortable with the idea.

I am very sorry you are going through this, I wish you the best of luck and do hope that it was an error and that his swimmers are fine!!

doctors can be wrong and tests can be flukes i say retest just to be sure and if that is the case we live in a world full of options i wish you the very best of luck!
