Could it get any worse?

I sure hope not!

I've had a really rough couple of weeks. To make a long story short, my grandma had a heart attack, was put in the hospital and stayed there for a week. When she came home she kicked me and my husband out. (We were only staying there until I could get another job and we could get our own place after the baby was born.)

So we moved in with my mom and step-dad. We thought eveything would be ok and again-we could move out after the baby was born. Yesterday my step dad told my mom that if she didn't make us leave that he was leaving her. SO, once again, we packed our things and we left. [we've moved twice in a week and a half]... Now we're staying with my husbands parents.

I feel so bad for my mom though. She's so upset because nobody has ever tried to come inbetween us. I know everyone's logical answer is to tell him to hit the road but she can't just do that. She can't make the house payment without him, and she would have to find somewhere for her and my broher to live before she could do anything.

Ugh, sorry, I just had to vent to someone.   I really do hope that it can't get any worse.

Sorry about what your going thru its hard being that young. But you need to think of the baby too. You need to get a place of your own and be able to call it your own. Do you or your husband work? Save some money so you can get your own place. It will go so much easier when you have your own place. Dont mean to sound mean. But it just would go alot better when you dont have to worry if your husbands parents are going to kick you out too

All that sucks. Why is your family behaving like that? Man. can't they be more understanding?Jeeees.

He works, and I do work, but only 2 days a week. I'm due in 4 weeks, so I'm going to be out of work for about 7 or 8 weeks. He can't afford to do everything on his own, and that's the only reason we're not out on our own right now. We're saving as much as we can for deposits and rent and everything.

Where are yall staying now? Have you applied for any sort of assistance?

We're staying with my husbands parents right now. I have WIC, and I applied for medicaid for the baby because I already have insurance. I applied for food stamps, but we got denied because apparently in Texas if you are under 22 and live with a parent you aren't qualified. The parent has to apply even if you buy and prepare your food seperately. Which sucks.
