Cant get SO involved in the registry :( Vent

Hey chicas and mamacitas. So today and tomorrow micah is off from work and all I wanted was to go to babies r us to use the gun to work on our registry. I made the whole registry online and well i thought it would be way more fun if we could use the gun and roam the store. Guess I was way wrong with that assumption. Micah doesnt want to.   I thought it could be a fun couple thing but hes like "eh, thats a far drive if you can just do it yourself online". Yeah I know its like 40 minutes away but I was hoping we could make a date out if it. I dont want to keep nagging him on it because I dont want him to go just to be all pissy and stand there with his arms folded across his chest.
Did your SOs help you make your registry?   I thought it wouuldve been a fun lil prebaby date.

yeah, I've made almost the whole registry online too....but I'm making Damon go with me whether he wants to or not...   .... and he is gonna like it! He will probably just say something about how "do i really need to go with you?" but oh well!

My husband got on my nerves so bad when I was registering I almost cried. He kept picking up ugly stuff or things that we didnt need. I would have been better off doing it alone. I went back the next day by myself it was really relaxing and enjoyable to do it alone.

LOL i would think it would be fun for them ya know? They get to use a lil machine and click what they want. LOL Youd think they would think its like christmas.

Maybe I should just drop the topic and do it with my mom next week.  

My bf kept putting it off, so one weekend I went and took my sister with me! So when he started complaining that he didnt get to pick anything out, I basically told him that he should have just come with me and NOT putting it off!!!! It BACK-FIRED in his face......lol

My husband didn't go, I just went with my mom.
She knew more of what I needed than he did anyway.

The down side about making the registry online is that all the items that you've selected may not be available in the store. My boyfriend wasn't here when I made the resigstry but if he was and he didn't want to go I'd be pissed, too.

Yah my husband is the same way it's frustrating. Eaither he hates it, does'nt care, or thinks it looks too girly so I've just given up and picked everything out my self. If he does'nt like it he can get over it.

Haha thats what im afraid will happen for us.

My BD always promised me and never took me. He had no interest. We broke up in April and havent spoken since. So me and my mom went and we had a way better time. We even got food after we left.

There was a baby thing here recently and we went, then got lunch together. It may sound sad, but I like not having to deal with a BD. Though he knows he is more than welcome to be involved, he doesnt want to be and I'm fine with it.

With our son a friend actually hijacked us and took us to babies r' us to register since we had been avoiding it. IT turned out to be pretty fun and every so often we would change it on-line.

With this one I've done most of it myself but I'll but the laptop on my DF lap and tell him to look at it and add something if he likes it.

Yea, I went to the store first with my sister and then a few days later I also added stuff from the internet that I wanted.....lol
