I can hardly walk.

posted 30th Jun
Saturday morning I woke up with the record for the worst leg cramp ever since then I have had a heck of a time walking and my calf hurts constantly it seems like its getting worse. Any one else have this, i'm going into the dr tomorrow i'll ask about it then. In the mean time what do you think it could be?

I have been getting cramping in my legs and feet lately too and I have just tried eating bananas, and yougurt and that seems to help. I just assumed my potassium was low??

I would call your dr. right away....blood clots are known to happen in pregnancy. I am not trying to scare you..I just happen to be a bit on the paranoid side. Good luck!

that always happens to me for a couple of days after i get a really bad leg cramo. I limp around for a couple of days and have a horrible time walking. I'm pretty sure its just your muscles being sore from the cramp, but it never hurts to ask your doctor to make sure.

My freind just had her baby and was experiencing this. She said to get a calcium supp. That because the Calcium molicule is so big it is hard to get enough in the prenantal. To fix the cramps she said Calcium.

That is it! Tums have a calcium supp in them too!! I guess it is not like the cramps that you get from working out. Baby's are sponges and they are depleating the calcium from us!!

Yay for Calcium!!!

I have to take twice the amount of calcium tablets to stop myself from craving cheese... I ate a 2 pound block of cheese the other day. I guess he just really wants calcium. x.x

sometimes in the middle of the night or early morning i would get terrible leg cramps (or i call them charlie horses   ) in my calf-i would grab onto my bf so hard because it was painful! , i was told it happens a lot during pregnancy but i found that if you drink a glass of milk before you go to bed it really helps a lot!
