When did you start feeling movement?

posted 30th Jun
I'm 19 weeks and am sooo confused as to if I've felt my baby yet! Sometimes I think I do but it could just be gas...then I wont feel it again for daaaaayyyyysss!!! "Feels like a fluttering" doesn't help out too much, what is fluttering supposed to feel like anyways? ha ha I'm just excited to feel it and getting impatient!   Help me out?

I felt movement for the first time at around 14 weeks. It kinda felt like popcorn popping. (that's the best way I can think to describe it.)

Feels like somebody shoved a hamster up your vag and he's trying to dig his way out through random spots on your belly... That was when he was little for me. Now it's like I have giant frogs randomly hopping in there and sometimes like a bone has come loose and is hitting me and trying to escape

i felt some movement between 14-16 weeks but i will never forget around 20 weeks i felt her do a flip in my tummy there was NO mistaking it for gas it was def her.. i am sure the ones i felt before were her too (it felt like i dunno bubbles or a litle tickling sensation inside my tummy)but that was the first big movement.. i am trying to think of a way to describe it.. do you have a cat? or ever had a cat take there paws and kneed your skin you know where they push one paw then the other almost like massage (accept wit there claws sometimes) well anyway imagine that on the inside of your belly (minus claws)... that to me best describes her hands or feet pressing against my tummy as she got bigger

Hmm...I think it was like this
*Gas bubbles at first
*Then it felt like a small fish wiggling inside me.
*Then pop corn like moves
*An xbox rumble pack inside my uterus.
*Now it feels like an actual little human sliding around and kicking and doing flips.

If you think the gas bubbles are the baby they probly are! It's normal for them to be active one day and the next sleeping and growing.

also wanted to add.. when they run out of room the once sweet tickling soft movements become a feeling of your ribs being under alien attack! sometimes i feel like my ribs are gonna pop out like she is kicking them out from behind.. and ooohhhh lord the bladder! i mean i had frequent peeing sessions thru my whole pregnancy but now i stand up and the weight of her on my bladder i can barely make it to the bathroom! lol

You are all making me laugh!! Very helpful, thanks! Maybe it really is my baby and not gas! I can kinda "picture" these feelings and think maybe I have had some of them!!

The first kicks are around 18 weeks.. Two of them one after another.. Kicking at my laptop.. But at the time I wasnt sure thats what it was.. Then the next week it started happening more.. By the end of 19 weeks and into 20 weeks my SO could feel her kicking..

Edit: Im not sure if I even ever felt the "flutters"

I felt my baby girl around 14weeks first and thought I was mistaken cuz all the books say not till 17-20 weeks or some bull honkey like that,
I would describe it as water bubbiling up, you know it cant be gas cuz gas bubbles travel down, these went up!
Chances are, if you feel like its the baby you are feeling then it probably is!
Now I feel her stretching and rolling, feels like she is doin jumpin jacks in there!
