just an aswer please

so nobody replied to my last post about the stabbing pain and i tried googling it and i couldnt really find anything. Can anyone relate to what i am feeling so i know if its normal or not? Im 32 weeks and i have been having sharp pains in my lower abdomen. normal?

its probably normal. if you're worried call your dr

I never experienced that during pregnancy, I would definitely call your doctor and explain your symptoms, if it's after hours and your concerned you can go to labor and delivery to be monitered. good luck

is it the round ligiment stretching?? It could be something so simple as that or something way more serious.. You should probably just call your OB, or an on call doc, or L&D and see what they say..

Im 26 weeks and I have the same feeling. It says that during your last trimester that the baby is rotating to deliver position with its head toward your cervix so cramping is normal. 

I get those once in a while, and then I feel like I have to go #2 a few minutes later, to find out I'm constipated. I guess maybe it's the hard stool passing through. Sorry if it's TMI.

My baby likes to head butt my cervix and it hurts like a son of a gun. Maybe it's just things in your body aligning?

That's normal.

I am not far behind you. The only time that I had stabbing pains was during my second trimester, and my doctor said that it was ligament stretching. It did take my breath away, but it only lasted a couple of seconds at a time and was never bad enough to make me cry- even though I have an extremely low tolerance for pain. I would go ahead and call my doctor if I was you

I have been having them also - my doc said it could be muscles stretching, skin tearing from the inside out (which is how stretch marks occur) or just the position of your baby. I get mine on the sides really bad - we areclose to the same weeks.

I didn't see your other post, but I get them on and off too. It is on my lower left and my Dr. said it likely is the round ligament, or the baby just positions himself to where it causes pain. Sometimes it REALLY hurts! I have to stop what I am doing and relax....bend over etc. to get it to stop.

It sounds like ligament pain to me... Though if you are really worried call your doctor.. better safe than sorry. When does it normally happen? I know if im walking or even just turn the wrong way i will get that stabbing pain.

i get them sometimes too! they started a few weeks ago. i noticed i get them more when i change positions, especially if i get out of bed too quickly. i'm assuming mine are round ligament pains, like everyone is saying. they hurt!
