Lots of clear discharge with PP bleeding after C-section

So i'm about 5 days PP. I delivered via c-sectionfor a breech baby. Before the surgery i should tell you guys that i never lost my mucus plug. I'm just wondering if the clear discharge i see now along with the bleeding when i wipe could be my mucus plug that never was expelled before the surgery?

The discharge is clear, kind of stringy and sometimes it goes from clear to a bright yellow transparent color. What do you think this could be?

i had a c-section too and never lost my plug, but that didn't happen to me so i don't know.

well after natural birth..i bleed for 2 weeks..then for another 2 weeks..it was clear ..i forget the name of it...

then i had a c section with my last 1...i bleed for a week..then clear..kinda smelly...damn i cant remember the name for it...

some help pls ladies

I think its normal ... just normal discharge I guess   .... how are you recovering after your c-section...I am at 7 days and feel great besides a little pain... getting the stitch out was by far the scariest part.... but I had nothing to worry about it didnt hurt at all

tht something i like to know..when did u get ur stiches out..i got my out.2 days after i had the baby b4 i left the hospital..my husband was freaking out..and soo was i kinda....and they left me with butterfly stiches..which is just like band aids..

i would think your mucous plug would be expelled with the baby and placenta but i could be wrong...never thought about that. i had a c-section and didnt lose my mucous plug(that i know of) and never had any clear discharge after. so i dont know what it could be...

wow..... they said I couldnt ahve them out before day 5.... and now have to keep a long piece of bandaging over it for the next 2 weeks.,... thats early for them to atek it out.... they cut the edge of my stitch off and then one end went back in and the other wa sonly just hanging out....she said if it had gone in I would have it cut out   .... I had only had disolvable before... If i ever have another bubs then I will def. just ask to see if they can do disolvable (SP?)

i had staples..and when she said ok..i just hav to take them out..and u get up and and get ready to go...mmm...i was scared to death to sneeze..thinking i would sneeze my guts out or something.....i would cry when i felt 1 coming on..and bend over..lmao..

LOL...i had 4 sneezes this morning and was sooooooo scared.... I remeber after my first c-section I didnt even want to go to the toilet because I thought I would pop open LOL....

I had that after my section, I spoke to my midwife and she said it was normal, mine eventually went a orange colour.
All you guys had to get stitches out !! I didnt my stitches were all internal, you couldnt see anything on the outside, and I had to take my bandage off after 12 hours to allow the air to get at the wound, isnt it weird how different everything is done, I thought I had it bad but I dont think I could have handled getting stitches out !!  

My bleeding is completely gone now, all i have it the clear and pinkish discharge left. For the most part its clear and sometimes its an orangish color. My bleeding also had a funky smell at first, but since its gone the smell has also dissapeared.

I have disolvable stitches, on the 2nd or 3rd day in the hospital the dr pulled off a piece of tape from my incision OMG IT HURT LIKE HELL lol, i think my stitches might have came out when she pulled the tape off. After that she put the steri-strips on my incision and told me that they would come off on their own. So basically the only part that hurt was when the dr took the piece of tape off lol.

I'm5 days PP and im still in a lot of pain.I still hold my incision when i walk, I think it has a lot to do with the fact that im swollen all over (my feet, legs, vaginal area) and i'm on the chunkier side so i guess its taking a while for me to heal. It also doesnt help that my stomach is huge and saggy in some places. The good thing is that it doesnt hurt as much to laugh anymore lol. I was also SCARED as hell to cough or sneeze for the first couple days. The thing that sucked was while i was in the hospital i was taking my pain pills with water and it felt like it went down the wrong pipe. I choked and you should have seen my face i was like     the pain was soo bad. but since then i've been pretty good. Did anyone elses stomach feel like the baby was still in there kicking? I guess its really just the uterus contracting back down to regular size but yea, thats definitly a weird feeling lol
