i feel like a wimp.

yesterday i got married!! woooot wooot!! haha it was a small semi casual ceremony on the beach, i didnt wear a lick of white (didn't think i would have fooled anyone anyways) lol, but as i have posted about several times john and i havent had sex since nov. when we did a confession to our church about my pregnancy. well as of friday i was 6 weeks pp and on wed. i went to the doc got the all clear for sex and got on bc so last night was our night. i couldnt do it. i choked. it hurt like a mother, like he got like just a little bit in and i started crying and he had to stop. then today we got some lube to try again, nope didnt help and i again made him stop. i dont know what to do, we both have waited so long for this and i feel horrible, idk i said maybe give me another week or so just to maybe heal somemore? although this is the first time i have hurt down there again. blah idk. are there any positions you guys found it easier after having a baby and having had stitches? we were just doing classic missionary, but maybe something else would be better? suggestions? i dont get it, i delivered with no friggin pain meds, i felt impervious to pain...until now. haha jk

It took me a really, really long time before it didn't hurt anymore. Then, it had to be slow and easy for quite a while as well. Just give it a bit more time and when you do, try your best to relax and not think about the possibility of pain. The more tense you are, the more it's going to hurt!

I don't know from expierence, but I've heard that spooning is good after stitches and delivery and all that? Congrats on the baby and congrats on getting married! Good luck!

thanks. its like i guess ripping would be the most adequate term...idk though i guess lots of pressure kind of pain too, especially on the area where i tore. just entirely too painfull to endure at this point.lol

ok, lol i dont feel so bad about it taking more than once. it feels like loosing my virginity all over again and he said it was really tight, i think that bitch doctor gave me one of those 'daddy' stitches. booo and i thought i liked her. haha jk jk

i had a very very bad tear upwards w/my last. We waited 9 weeks PP and it didn't hurt at all. Maybe you need a week or two more to heal????? W/my first tho, it hurt for a good long while so, IDK if i was lucky w/my second or what.

I am scared poopless to have sex too. My 6week pp appointment is wednesday and I want to have sex before then so I can talk about any problems I have but im soo nervous to have sex. I think its ganna hurt realy bad..

lol thanks! it hurts badddd and the exam hurt too, my doc didnt warn me...and apparently breastfeeding makes the tissue down there more tender. hope you have better luck than me! =)
