Okay,

I'm now 40 weeks and 4 days.

Just before I got a really intense stomach pain then followed by a few smaller ones, now my stomach is just aching.

My question is, despite the pains, the baby has just started squirming away again.

If I was in pre labour does the baby still keep on moving like that.

I'm not feeling that great at the moment, pains on and off so any help or advice would be appreciated!

HI the midwife at prenatal classes say that first time mums could reach up to 42 weeks but most have their babies at 40weeks + 5 days so you could have yours tomorrow!  

Also, the baby keeps moving while you are in labour.

I didn't make it that long, but my little one kept wiggling away, although after the pain started kicking in I really didn't pay much attention to how much he moved. Good luck & lots of labor dust to you!
